Q: What made you want to be a coach?

A: Water polo has given me more than I could ever imagine. It had an overwhelming influence on defining me as an individual. Outside of the hardworking nature of the game, it is the teammates and coaches that I was blessed to share experiences with that shaped who I am. As a coach I hope to share this with young athletes today and keep elevating the level of water polo in Edmonton.

Q: Who was your most influential coach?

A: Chris Radmonovich challenged me from the moment I stepped foot onto the Wagner campus. Not only did he push me to be the best athlete I could, but a better student and teammate. He taught me to always take responsibility for my actions and held me accountable to individual and team goals. He leads by example and attacks everything with an unparalleled level of passion. I hope to inspire athletes to work as hard for me as I always wanted to work for him.

Q: Who is an athlete you admire?

A: I have been lucky enough to play with many outstanding athletes and always admire teammates that raised the level of competition in practice and played with passion. As far as a professional athlete, I am a big Ryan Smyth fan.
